The Story of Ferdinand

We discovered this book when we were browsing the selection of children’s books at a local store. We were immediately drawn to it, not least because of its striking illustrations, so different from what’s available these days with its old-world charm. A lovely story about a young bull’s preference to smell the flowers and watch the world go by rather than roughhousing with his friends, this simple tale presents a gentle lesson for both kids about the importance adults of staying true to yourself.
